The redtail catfish, Phractocephalus hemioliopterus is a popular aquarium fish in the hobby. It is also known as a monster fish! This is because, like a few other aquarium fish, it grows to be very very large. It isn't dangerous though, it's actually very cute and easy to care for. Red tail catfish make great pets!

Red tail catfish grow quickly and feed mostly on small live fish.
